En ratos libres sigo leyendome el manual de mantenimiento de www.kniro.net y hoy he localizado unos parrafos muy curiosos.
En el apartado "Kia Niro 2017 (DE HEV) Service Manual / Body Electrical System / Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS) / Description and operation" cuenta lo siguiente:
"Activation conditions for High Beam Assist (HBA) are as follows:
- HBA is activated when the light switch is at 'AUTO' and the high beam switch is ON (push).
–HBA is activated when the function is enabled and the vehicle speed is 45 km/h or higher, and automatically deactivated when the vehicle speed is 35 km/h or less.
–HBA is not activated in daytime even if the activation conditions are satisfied.
–In nighttime, HBA detects the preceding vehicle's lamp light and automatically turns the high beam on or off."
Lo que traducido viene a decir que las luces largas tienen (o pueden tener) un sistema de funcionamiento automatico
... alguien podria verificarlo...
Y por otra parte:
Speed Limit Information Function (SLIF) : Detects traffic signs by using the camera and displays the speed limit by using the map data from navigation.
Esto último, o sea que las señales las lee la camara del LKAS, me lo comento el comercial en su momento, aunque yo pense que la información salia unicamente del navegador...
Finalmente tambien aparece esto:
"Activation conditions for DAA are as follows:
–The function should be enabled on the User Setting Menu (USM) of the cluster.
–The function should be enabled and the vehicle speed should be 60 km/h - 175 km/h."
Que viene a ser el sistema de Alerta de atención para el conductor (DAA), que se supone viene en los modelos del 18.
